Enigma: who founded it, who funds it

Enigma is a Tel Aviv robotics lab founded in 2025 by Jonathan Jacobi and Gal Niv, who came from Microsoft and Unit 8200. What it is building: foundation models for robots, with the software and interfaces that make robotic systems easier to deploy and operate. It has raised $71M in disclosed rounds, most recently a Seed of $71M in July 2026, led by Index Ventures and Ribbit Capital. It has not released anything outsiders can use yet.
